Domain
A domain name is a specific name identifying a company, an organisation or a person on the Internet. You must register this name and then subscribe to a registrar in order to broadcast the name on the Internet. A domain name can be as short or as long as required, but generally the shorter the better. It should be as close to your company name as possible and be followed by a suffix denoting what type of company you are. ".com" is an international or US company, ".co.uk" is a company in the UK ".org" is a non-profit or charitable organisation.
